Coaching Certification

All coaches must complete certification as required by ALA Coaching Standards.

The minimum requirements for box lacrosse coaching levels are:

U11 Community Development - Trained N/A
U13 Community Development - Trained Competitive Introduction - Certified

U17 Competitive Introduction - Trained Competitive Introduction - Certified
Junior Competitive Introduction - Trained Competitive Introduction - Certified
Coaching pre-requisite: 16 years or older

Coaching Clinics

This is a two part course. Both online and on-floor must be completed to receive certification.

  1. Attend a VIRTUAL ("Core") clinic
  2. Sign up for an ON FLOOR ("Technical/Tactical") session to complete the course.
