Helmet

A helmet is the central component of protective gear for any lacrosse player.

The helmet must have a chin strap, which must be properly secured on both sides and cannot be altered from the manufactured form.

The most common box lacrosse helmet is a CSA approved hockey helmet (can be found in all sporting stores), along with a CSA approved lacrosse cage.

Goalie Throat Guard

Designed to protect the vulnerable throat area, this accessory acts as a shield against potential impacts during gameplay.

The high-quality construction ensures durability and reliability, allowing the throat piece to withstand the rigours of the game.

The sleek and modern aesthetic of this accessory enhances the overall appearance of the player’s gear. The throat piece seamlessly integrates with your Cascade helmet, adding a touch of style while maintaining optimal functionality.

Goalie Gloves

Gloves are a fundamental piece of protective gear in box lacrosse, designed to protect the hands and fingers while providing the dexterity needed to handle the stick effectively.

Goalie gloves consist of high density impact foam and leather or nylon to offer protection and flexibility. New contour cuff systems allow full range of motion at the wrist for maximum protection and mobility.

Goalie Arm & Chest Protector

A lacrosse chest protector is an essential piece of gear for goalies, designed to safeguard the chest, torso, and shoulders from high-speed shots and collisions.

Box lacrosse chest protectors are designed for the physical, fast-paced, and confined environment of indoor play.

These protectors offer maximum coverage, especially around the chest, arms, shoulders, neck, and spine. They tend to be bulkier and more heavily padded, providing robust protection in a smaller playing space.

Goalie Pants

Goalie pants feature a wide cut to give goalies optimum comfort, performance, and the extra protection necessary in key areas. This design allows for the maximum amount of net coverage and greater mobility.

Features include a thigh cradle stabilizer system to keep thigh pads square to shooter for maximum blocking area, while providing for greater comfort and protection.

Front and back mesh panels for increased venting and temperature control.

Goalie Leg Guards

Box lacrosse leg guards are designed for maximum protection in the fast-paced, physical indoor environment.

They are bulkier and more heavily padded than field lacrosse pads, offering extensive coverage for the thighs, knees, and shins to protect against high-speed shots and collisions with the boards.

These pads are built for durability and impact resistance, allowing for mobility while ensuring the goalie stays safe in tight, high-contact situations.

Goalie Stick

A box lacrosse goalie stick is a specialized piece of equipment designed to help goalies block high-speed shots and clear the ball with precision.

The plastic version is the most common choice for box lacrosse goalies. It features a lightweight, durable plastic shaft and head, which provides the goalie with more control and quicker reaction times. The plastic material is highly resistant to impact and wear, making it ideal for the physical nature of box lacrosse.

Athletic Support

jock is an essential piece of protective gear for any male lacrosse goalie. It is designed to provide support and protection for the groin area during high-impact play. Most jocks feature a durable waistband and straps that hold a protective cup in place, ensuring that the most sensitive areas are shielded from injury.

jill is an essential piece of protective gear for female lacrosse goalies, designed to offer support and protection for the groin area. Similar to a men’s jock, the jill features a waistband and straps that hold a protective cup in place, ensuring safety during high-impact plays.
